Cabana Productions, on behalf of the Rotary Club of Glenelg, we would like to thank Lexi, Adam and Wayne for producing a video of our Signature event, the 2019 Cold Plunge to raise money for the Adelaide Homeless. You are Champions and we will treasure this bit of history of our club. We truly appreciate the time you've taken and the work you have done in promoting the event.
The Rotary Club of Glenelg has just received the Best Environmental Project Award from District 9520 for our No More Straws Campaign.
Our goal was to make the Jetty Road Glenelg precinct plastic straw free. Our members hit the streets with paper straws and posters to help the local traders make the switch.
We are pleased to say that we achieved our goal and have been recognized by the District for this achievement. If you are not already a part of this great community organisation, send us an email and get in on the fun.
Here is the video produced by Cabana Productions of the 2019 Glenelg Christmas pageant.
Day 1 of our 61kms trek on KI for Shelterbox. 12.2 kms on the Rocky River section. Great company, great food (thanks to our support crew 😀), wonderful scenery and beautiful flowers. Feeling good so far. Please donate to this great cause, providing shelter to those who’ve lost everything in natural disaster or war. $30 buys an inflatable solar light providing comfort and safety in disaster zones.
This year Rotary Club Of Glenelg sponsored Roger Hornett for this great adventure and learning experience.
